Terminal Library
To advance seamless interoperability through the CIPURSE™ open standard, the OSPT Alliance promotes the CIPURSE™ Terminal Library, developed by its member, Infineon Technologies AG. This software package is designed to simplify and accelerate the implementation of CIPURSE™ specifications across a wide range of terminals. By encapsulating core CIPURSE™ mechanisms and providing high-level operational functions, the library enables rapid development and integration of terminals such as ticket vending machines, access gates, key management devices, and personalization systems.
Supporting both contactless (ISO/IEC 14443-4) and contact-based (ISO/IEC 7816-3) communication channels, the library provides developers with APIs in ANSI C, C++, Java and C#, along with example code, documentation, and integration guides. For CIPURSE™ users, this means reduced development time, faster time-to-market, compatibility with existing infrastructure, and secure interoperability across multi-vendor environments.
The Terminal Library Architecture is presented in the diagram below in layered format and consists of the Presentation Layer, Crypto Services, Framework Layer, and Platform Abstraction Layer.
